2. Celebration Of National Historic Preservation Week
Mr. Sullivan stated that he and Ross Richardson had decided that the

be limited this year but that a Commissioner might be involved as a

3. May 1st Event
Pending any problems with insurance, the date of the event is set for May
1st. There was a possible conflict with the National Day For

discussion followed about arrangements for the event, such as program,
video, large map, etc. Mr. Sullivan distributed a draft of a script for the
video and asked members to read it over and make suggestions.
MR. SULLIVAN MOVED AND MS. RICHARDSON SECONDED A MOTION TO RECOMMEND TO
THE HISTORIC LANDMARKS COMMISSION THAT IT AUTHORIZE THE EXPENDITURE OF UP TO

MAY FIRST. THE COMMITTEE UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED THE MOTION.
The Committee plans to meet shortly before the event to assess the status
of arrangements.
4. Historic Mural
Mr. Sullivan reported that work continues seeking a place at which to
locate the historic mural.
