Charlotte-Mecklenburg Planner Carl Flick located Streetcar 85 on David Street in Huntersville, N.C. in November 1987.	Dan Morrill stands in front of Streetcar 85 soon after it was located.  The photograph appeared in the Charlotte Observer on November 13, 1987.
Streetcar 85 had been converted into a home.  The extension on the rear was the kitchen.  It had no bathroom and therefore had been condemned.  It was weeks away from being destroyed.	Bragg McLeod donated his company's services to move Streetcar 85 to a storage building on Atando Avenue.  The move occurred on May 6, 1988.
