The Historic Landmarks Commission will meet next on December 11, 2006, in its offices in the Ratcliffe-Otterbourg House at 2100 Randolph Road, Charlotte, N.C.  The meeting shall commence at 6:00 p.m.  Anyone needing assistance should contact the Historic Landmarks Commission beforehand at 704-376-9115.

a. Certificate of Appropriateness Application for the VanLandingham Estate, 2010 The Plaza, Charlotte.

The applicant is Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. who are representing the City of Charlotte.   The applicant is proposing to build a sidewalk along the rear of the property.   The owner of the property objects to the proposed project.

The project would consist of a 30 inch curb and gutter and a 6 foot sidewalk.  The project would be constructed entirely within the right-of-way.  A chain-link fence would be relocated and seven trees would be removed.
