(EXTERIOR AND A SPECIFIC AMOUNT OF LAND TO BE DETERMINED BY HLC STAFF), BE

MOTION.
Since the Survey Committee
meeting, the owners of the property have notified the Commission that they
oppose designation at this time. This
property was on a list of endangered properties, from which we were trying
to identify owners who supported designation. The Hinson store owners
appeared lukewarm to the idea, and we proceeded. Like the
Maxwell-Cashion House, we approached the owners with the attitude that the
S&R needed to be completed so that we could evaluate the significance of the
property. The building does not appear to be immediate peril.
