UTM 17 514164E 3898324N

Built in 1958 and located just off of the Square at 129 West Trade Street, the Wachovia  Bank and Trust Building is one of the most prominent examples of Modernism in downtown Charlotte.  Designed by A.G. Odell and completed in 1958, the bank building is significant as the oldest modernist high rise in the city that has retained a good degree of integrity.  The building is also significant as an example of A.G. Odell’s early work.
