Woodlawn

Along with Irwin Park, Woodlawn was planned as a
streetcar suburb and was served by the West Trade trolley line.
The neighborhood contains numerous historic Craftsman Style houses with
a high degree of integrity. In addition Woodlawn has retained at
least two early twentieth-apartment buildings. The
neighborhood appears to have the requisite significance to be considered
for designation as a historic district. |
